I write. Professionally, personally, and everywhere in between. I keep notes on my iPhone and in notebooks beside my bed. I keep unorganized personal files and meticulously organized professional files.

I write essays. I write profiles about organizations doing good work in the world. I write longform magazine articles. I write speeches. I write stories for my kids.

I’m inspired by people doing extraordinary things in their ordinary lives. I look for the meaning in the every day. I like sitting with people I don’t know and asking them questions. I crave and fear new places. I like turning ideas around in my head until a seed becomes a sprout.

My personal work has been featured in Bittersweet Monthly, Motherly, Apartment Therapy, AOL Patch, Content Science Review, and my mom’s emails to her colleagues. My work on behalf of leaders has been in the Washington Post, USA Today, and The Wall Street Journal. My speechwriting was recognized with a 2020 Cicero Speechwriting Award.

I also do a lot of professional work in the business world. For my full professional bio, click here.
